Name:
Jens Borgschulte
Admission:
2020
Education:
Dipl.-Kfm.

Jens Borgschulte graduated from the University of Hamburg in 1991 with a degree in business administration. He then took on various management positions in the construction industry and gained over 30 years of experience in a dynamic environment. He has been a member of the Management Board of Ed. Züblin AG since 2020, where he helps shape the strategic direction of the company.

What fascinates him about the construction industry is the lasting impact of the projects: Buildings shape the cityscape and the lives of many people for decades. For him, the real challenge lies in the interplay between technology, the economy and the environment – a complex system that requires holistic and forward thinking. Especially in times of change, he sees this as a great opportunity: to actively shape the future with innovative approaches, sustainable solutions and interdisciplinary collaboration. For him, ZÜBLIN stands not only for construction projects, but also for values that are put into practice: team spirit, technical excellence and partnership - both internally and externally. This cooperation creates trust and forms the basis for long-term success.

A look into the future

The construction industry is facing profound change. Modular construction, digitalization and sustainability will fundamentally change the way we plan, build and operate.

Digitalization in particular is opening up new possibilities – from model-based planning and automated construction processes to the intelligent use of data in building operations. These developments not only promote efficiency and quality, but also transparency and sustainability along the entire value chain. Those who recognize and integrate this potential at an early stage will actively shape the future of construction.
