A look into the future

The construction industry is facing profound change. Digitalization, sustainability and securing skilled workers are key drivers. Markus Landgraf sees great opportunities in this: "In future, we will not only build more efficiently, but also more intelligently - with data-driven processes, CO₂-reduced materials, serial prefabrication and new forms of collaboration."

Hence his advice to new talent: "Stay curious, be well prepared and never lose sight of the big picture. With passion and a sense of responsibility, you can not only build buildings - you can also build trust, respect and a strong professional identity."

  • "The future of construction is networked, responsible and technology-driven - and I look forward to actively shaping it"
