Name:
Stephan von der Heyde
Admission:
1990
Education:
Dipl.-Kfm.

Stephan von der Heyde has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years and brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of the industry to his role as a member of the Management Board of Ed. Züblin AG.

After training as an industrial clerk at STRABAG and studying business administration in Marburg and Lüneburg, he joined STRABAG as a construction clerk in 1990. He quickly took on management responsibility there - including as divisional manager in Hamburg and director in Darmstadt.

In 2004, he moved to Ed. Züblin AG in Stuttgart in the Controlling division. As early as 2006, he became Head of Directorate in the 2C division, and since 2021 he has been a member of the Executive Board and responsible for the UB2C division.

A personal highlight of his career was his involvement in the new Stuttgart Central Station - a project that for him reflects ZÜBLIN's innovative strength and technical expertise.

For Stephan von der Heyde, ZÜBLIN stands for a corporate culture that combines technical excellence with consistency and trust: "This combination creates the basis for sustainable success."

He also has a wide range of private commitments: He is married, the father of two daughters and a grandfather. In his free time, he plays music in the ZÜBLIN band, enjoys cycling and traveling to get to know new cultures.

A look into the future

Looking to the future, he sees great opportunities in the areas of sustainability, refurbishment and infrastructure development. At the same time, he emphasizes the importance of an appreciative corporate culture in order to actively counter the shortage of skilled workers.

  • The diversity of people and projects in the construction industry impresses me anew every day. No two days are the same - this dynamic makes our work particularly exciting.
