Connection B10-B14 Leuze short tunnel
As part of the Rosenstein Tunnel road construction project, the traffic flows between the Pragsattel junction and the connection at Leuze are to be separated.
In June 2018, Ed. Züblin AG (Stuttgart Directorate for Engineering and Infrastructure Construction) was commissioned to build the short tunnel at Leuze.
The planned short tunnel will replace the current B14 turnaround and will be integrated into the new Leuze junction. Coming from Pragsattel, it will serve as a direct turn-off towards the city center.
The particular challenges of this project include the limited space available, the location in the middle of the B10 / B14 and the associated construction site logistics. In addition, the conversion of the sewers during ongoing operations requires complex planning and execution.
