HomE of Mobility, Wertheim
Location Am Fuchsenacker 2 in Wertheim
The construction project comprises the construction of a competence center with two full storeys and an e-charging park, which is spread over two levels and offers space for a total of 102 charging points.
The floor slab and the floor slab are designed as a reinforced concrete structure. The reinforced concrete ceiling rests on load-bearing interior and exterior walls as well as in-situ concrete columns. On the first floor, the columns are designed as fully prefabricated elements on which glulam beams and the trapezoidal sheet metal roof are supported. The competence center does not have a basement.
The project is aiming for DGNB "Sustainable Building Site" certification from the German Sustainable Building Council.

Certified by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB)
Ed. Züblin AG is pursuing several goals with this project: A sustainable construction site organisation, the conservation of resources as well as the minimisation of emissions, responsibility for the health and well-being of the builders, the cultivation of good neighbourliness and, of course, high-quality construction. For this, Ed. Züblin AG was the first company to be recognised by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).

Selected measures in the project
-
Finished parts
The extensive use of prefabricated parts (fully prefabricated columns, timber trusses, trapezoidal sheeting) means that a shorter construction time can be achieved. The volume of waste is also reduced thanks to the prefabricated orders.
-
Saving resources through reuse
By reusing leftover materials from two other construction projects in the vicinity (such as wooden formwork etc.), the construction project makes an active contribution to the circular economy and resources can thus be saved.
-
Species protection
As the location of the construction project would have encroached on the biotope of the lizards living there, they were relocated before construction began in order to protect biodiversity. This allowed the habitat of the animals to be secured.
-
Concrete call-off
In order to be able to coordinate the concreting in the best possible way, the call-offs are made with sufficient lead time. Particularly in the case of large-scale concreting, the delivery quantities can be coordinated with the concrete pump, thus reducing the waiting times of the concrete mixers. Production times are optimized and noise emissions are reduced.
