Debeka Koblenz

Construction logistics in confined spaces.

A modern working environment is being created on Campus 1 of the Debeka head office in Koblenz through extensive refurbishment. Several parts of the building are being completely renovated, including the first floor with foyer, reception, cafeteria and assembly hall as well as a separate part of the building with underground parking, several upper floors and a technical structure. In addition to the renovation of roof areas and building structures, a new staircase will be installed as the first escape route and an additional elevator shaft.

We at ZÜBLIN Baulogistik are responsible for the organization and implementation of the construction logistics on this project. The biggest challenge is the extremely limited space available on the construction site: Every delivery has to be precisely coordinated and timed, as there is no room for long downtimes or alternative options.

Our scope of services in the field of construction logistics

  • Access control and delivery traffic control with traffic lights
  • Establishment and operation of a container village
  • Floor logistics for smooth supply to the individual floors
  • Construction hoists and scaffolding
  • Construction electricity, waste disposal and construction cleaning
  • Winter service and temporary protective measures

With careful planning and close coordination of all processes, we ensure that the renovation of the Debeka Campus runs efficiently and smoothly despite the cramped conditions - and that a modern administrative environment is created for the future.

  • As part of the refurbishment of our headquarters, construction logistics are being managed reliably and to a high standard by Ed. Züblin AG, Subdivision Construction Logistics.
ZÜBLIN is taking full responsibility for all logistical tasks on the construction site. These include, in particular, the coordination of material deliveries, well-planned waste management including disposal, the control of site access, and the provision and organisation of construction hoists.

Furthermore, ZÜBLIN efficiently supports external contractors with the unloading of materials and ensures the provision of toilet, staff and material containers as required.

Particularly noteworthy are the structured, forward-looking approach and the consistently solution-oriented collaboration. Processes are transparent and well-coordinated at all times, which contributes significantly to the smooth progress of the construction work.
We are very satisfied with the services provided by ZÜBLIN and value the professional and collaborative partnership.
