New construction of a turnkey patient building on the grounds of the LWL Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry in Lippstadt-Eickelborn

The building is a three-storey, angular building with a partial basement, which was predominantly constructed from semi-prefabricated elements. The façade is a perforated façade in a plaster structure with upright window formats in a thermal insulation composite system. The roof was constructed as a hipped roof with a roof pitch of 30° and a roof covering with natural red wooden interlocking tiles in accordance with the specifications for the preservation of historical monuments.

The building is used to accommodate a total of 69 male patients, who are housed in a long-term correctional facility, which is why increased security requirements were necessary, particularly for the doors, windows, metal construction and locksmith work and security fencing. Single rooms were built for the regular treatment of long-term patients. There are also recreation and therapy areas in the building.
