Frankfurt Central Station
Construction logistics in the heart of the city
Frankfurt Central Station is one of the largest transport hubs in Europe: around 170 million travelers and visitors use the historic building every year. The B level, station concourse and forecourt will be extensively redesigned and modernized by the end of 2026. The aim is to significantly increase the quality of stay and expand the retail space to around 30,000 m² with a total of 70 new store units.
We at ZÜBLIN Baulogistik are assuming responsibility for the smooth organization of the construction site for this project. With a gross floor area of 40,000 m² and a B-level of 18,000 m², the construction logistics in this inner-city environment require the utmost precision and coordination - especially when it comes to material delivery, waste disposal and the limited space available.
Our scope of services
- Control of all delivery traffic including loading and unloading
- Installation and operation of a container facility with 65 units
- Space management in a highly frequented environment
- Operation of an approx. 300 m² recycling center and disposal of around 700 tons of material
- Use of construction hoists and conveyors to supply the various basement levels
- Site security during the entire construction phase
Thanks to our experience and precise construction logistics coordination, we ensure that all processes run smoothly, resources are used optimally and work progresses on schedule. In this way, we contribute to the successful modernization of one of the busiest railroad stations in Europe.
