Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank Frankfurt
The Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank (Germany's development agency for agribusiness) building is one of the most important post-war modernist buildings in Frankfurt. Since 2013, the listed headquarters of the development bank has been extensively modernized, expanded and adapted to the requirements of the future by adding four floors. At the same time, the characteristic appearance with its filigree grid façade and striking staircase is being retained.
Ed. Züblin AG is responsible for the construction logistics for this challenging project in the heart of Frankfurt's city center - a complex interplay of planning, coordination and technical implementation. The framework conditions are particularly challenging: limited space, adjacent main traffic routes, monument preservation requirements and a construction site with no significant alternative options.
Our construction logistics services at a glance
- Logistics planning and coordination of all construction processes
- Access control and delivery and unloading management in the inner-city environment
- Installation of a container system on a special foundation to protect the adjacent city park
- Site electricity, site lighting, water supply and disposal
- Construction hoists, conveyors and tower cranes
- Waste and hazardous materials management with around 3,000 m³ of material disposed of
- Building cleaning and winter services
The assembly of the building construction crane was particularly outstanding: it was lifted from a closed main road across the building to the rear and installed there - a logistical masterpiece under difficult conditions.
The project is an example of how building in existing structures, monument protection and modern requirements can be combined through precise construction logistics.
