Around 30 employees work on projects in steel building construction, steel bridge construction and façade construction using industry-standard systems:
- TEKLA Structures for 3D modeling and BIM-supported planning
- Brics-CAD – a versatile CAD platform for precise façade construction drawings
- RSTAB – for the structural analysis of load-bearing structures
- IDEA-STATICA – for the design of complex connections and steel components
For demanding, complex large-scale projects, we also draw on the planning capacities of the Central Engineering department of Ed. Züblin AG.
Digital planning, BIM and 3D design
ZÜBLIN Stahlbau meets key requirements for BIM (Building Information Modeling) projects and has more than 20 years of experience in the use of 3D design software.
Our digital planning and production processes include:
- automated data transfer from 3D programs to production
- digital planning of the construction site equipment
- model-based assembly planning and assembly process simulation
- Barcode-based, seamless component tracking
- complete integration into our production control systems
In this way, we guarantee transparent and continuous component tracking – from factory planning to production and transportation to assembly on the construction site. Components that have already been manufactured, relocated or assembled can be traced at any time.
