Modern living in a forward-looking, ecologically oriented residential quarter.
The quarter, realized by the Stuttgart-based Landes-Bau-Genossenschaft Württemberg eG, comprises a variety of apartment types, including senior citizens' residential communities and apartments for people with disabilities.
The construction project includes 6 apartment buildings with 145 rental apartments, a day care centre (4 groups), 3 medical practices, commercial space, a neighbourhood café, 14 terraced houses, an underground car park with a usable area of 4,532 m² and 169 parking spaces, outdoor facilities with play areas and seating. The buildings were constructed partly in solid construction and partly in timber hybrid construction.
Special features
The project was included in the IBA 27 Networks program. The IBA'27 network brings together projects that deal ambitiously with the future of building, living and working.
